This is mine and Deenys slide show about our animal we have chosen which is a Black Panther. We have 10 page slide show about the Black panther and how it migrates, what it eats, its natural habitat, how they survive, what is special about them, why we chose the animal and so much more infomation.

 What have you learned about Migration?

For migration I learnt about push and pull factors. Pull factors are things that convince you to go somewhere and push factors is what pushes people away from somewhere.

Personal experience

My personal is my education migration, I moved from Moerewa school to Bay college. No push factors I just got old enough to go to college. I came to Bay college because it is close and my whole family went here.

Place value

Hi my name is Bailee, this term we have been learning about place value, when you take a number and put it into a number group, such as 1s 10s 100s 1000s 10 000 and so on. 

It is placing the number into its own value place, example: 274 is the number, the 4 is in the 1s column because it is 4 groups of 1, the 7 goes into the 10s column because it is 7 groups of ten and lastly the 2 goes in the 100s column because it is 2 groups of 100.

My goal is to learn how to group higher number values so I cam do all of it and know it properly.
